Attempt of Ombre nails / Intento de uñas degradadas

As I told you in the previous post I was going to try the Ombre nails, so here I go with the tutorial.
This is what we need.
First of all we cover the nails with abase coat for protection

 
Como os dije en el post de ayer iba a intentar hacerme las uñas Ombre o degradadas, así que aquí vamos con el tutorial. Esto es lo que necesitamos.
Primero ponemos una capa base para proteger las uñas.

  

Step 1: Paint your nails with the lighter color (if the gradient goes from light to dark)
Paso 1: Pintar las uñas con el color más claro (si el degradado va de claro a oscuro)

Step 2: Pour some dark nail polish in a dish or plastic item and dip the sponge, then carefully apply it on your nails, the first time you should do it nearly in the whole nail and once dry do it once again just in the tips for a better degraded effect.

Paso 2: Vierte un poco de esmalte de uñas oscuro en un plato o algo plástico y moja la esponja, y con cuidado aplicalo en las uñas, la primera vez en casi toda la uña y una vez que esté seco repite el proceso pero esta vez tan solo en las puntas para obtener un mejor resultado.

 Step 3: Remove the excess of nail polish of your fingers (it's quite messy) with cotton swabs  and nail polish remover.

Paso 3: Para quitar el exceso de pintauñas que quedará en tus dedos (que será bastante) usa bastoncillos mojados en quitaesmaltes. 

Step 4: Ta- daaaaaaa here you have your Ombre nails!

Paso 4: Ta - daaaaaa aquí teneis vuestras uñas degradadas!

Tips  /  Truquillos

The most important thing about this manicure is the sponge, the good result will depend on the tipe of sponge you use. I tried with the ones for applying the base make up and the nail polish got in the sponge and dried... so... I tried with another and it work pretty well although at the end it was a bit sticky. I guess I will try to do this once again this time from darker to lighter and trying to use another sponge.

Despues de intentarlo creo que lo más importante de esta manicura es la esponja, el buen resultado depende del tipo de esponja que utiliceis. Primero lo intente con una con la que se aplica la base de maquillaje pero chupó todo el esmalte y se secó :( así que lo intenté con otra y funcionó bastante bien aunque al final estaba pegajosa y me quedaban cachillos de esponja en las uñas (ya os dije que soy muy patosa para estas cosas) y ná, creo que lo intentaré una vez más pero esta vez de oscuro a claro y con otro tipo de esponja.
